This new video was shot on the hills of Oltrepò, crossing the provinces of Alessandria and Pavia, in a surrounding limpid day of sun that has exalted the beauty of the landscape and small countries crossed.
The initial part of the route is represented by a sweet but constant climb along the Val Curone, ideal itinerary for a training force-resistance.
We are going through small villages, such as Volpedo, Brignano Frascata, San Sebastiano and Fabbrica Curone, which are well known to cyclists as on these roads crossing some well known amateur races.
The following descent brings to Varzi, a small town famous for its production of a salami D.O.P., and then you attack the only one ascent of a certain difficulty inserted in this video, 5,6km at 5,5% of average gradient.
It is the climb that leads to Pietragavina, a beautiful village at about 750m sea level.
You enter then in Valverde and from here starts a varied tiring route, a contnuos series of short descents and hard short climbs leading us on the state road of Penice to the final part of the race, a long descent to the villages of Salice Terme and Rivanazzano. A varied and very training race, long about 89km with 1000m of altitude gain.

The race:
Tortona (100m) – San Sebastiano Curone (300m) – Fabbrica Curone (496m) – Forcella di Pareto (600m) – Varzi (429m) – Pietragavina (729m) – Valverde (635m) – Godiasco (180m) – Voghera (90m)

Main Climb:
